Christmas at Gertie's House =)

I just had to comment on Gertie's Christmas Party. Well, from my end, I thought it went very well. Especially considering what happened last year with the fire and the tree.

W. couldn't go because of theme park openings but I went with all of our daughters. Though I am pretty sure that most of my daughters only came because Ruth and her boys came. Apparently Ruth's boys are little princes and little princesses need little princes. Though, I'm not going to tell Ruth that because she already thinks my girls are boy-crazy as it is. Which, they are when you think about it but then again, most girls their ages are. Even Bertha is slightly boy-crazy with the way she idolizes Michael and Jason.

The poor girl, you should have seen her after the party. She was devastated with the fact that Michael and Jason weren't talking. She didn't know who to follow around the neighborhood. Not that either of them were to be found around the neighborhood when they were fighting.

But I'm getting off track here because I'm suppose to be telling you all about Gertie's fabulous Christmas party. First of all the Christmas tree was absolutely stunning. Gertie, you and the boys outdid yourself this year. It shedded a bit much but it looked gorgeous.

And poor, poor Sella Bwan. She seemed tramautized by the end of the night. Now, I didn't witness it myself, but I heard that she was trying to impress a young boy only for him to start chasing after another young boy. But I heard this from my daughters. I also heard that she witnessed Samara and Sadako playing together and that was what traumatized her. All I know is that at some point during the evening, Sella curled up into the fetal position and started rocking back and forth in the corner. I'm use to Jason doing this (after all he has a very debilitating fear of water) but I had never thought Sella would do something like that. She just seems so obedient and we all know that Stephanie wouldn't want her to do anything like that.

Now, the food was delicious. There was plenty of turkey and stuffing. Gertie thought of everything, she even had some bologna sandwiches because she had heard of my cravings for the things. Bless her heart. And of course there was lots of eggnog.

Anyway, I've prattled on about Gertie's wonderful party long enough. I should be going now. Merry Christmas. =)
